The name ”Kalve” reflects its origin, symbolizing the calfing of a larger island – the smaller island standing gracefully beside its parent. Here, at the edge of the Norwegian Ocean, we invite you to experience harmony between landscape and architecture. This intimate connection between land and sea is mirrored in the way each holiday home is thoughtfully placed to honor the surrounding landscape, with architecture by award- winning Architect Snorre Stinessen – that invites harmony between form and environment.

Kalve offers unparalleled access to adventure. In just 3 hours by boat, you can reach the Shetland Islands, exploring the ocean that connects Norway to Scotland. This is a place where the Nature thrives in balance – whales and seals glides through the water, but also the White-tailed Eagle (Havørn) and the Greenland shark (Håkjerring) highlights the richness of marine life.
